Melbourne 2007

The F1 season has finally started with a nice race. Hamilton proved to be quick, Kovi was a bit of a disappointment, as was the breakdown of Kubica's car. The results could had been even better than they where (for a BMW fan, that is). A fourth for Heidfeld, with a good part of the race in second place was really good. Hopefully we'll see both cars there or even further ahead next time.

Yeah, I enjoyed the race too (especially that starting this year I became Kimi's fan ;)).

The only problem was to get up at 4:45am to watch it :)

About getting up early - I would prefer having three series: Asia, Europe and Americas. Each consisting of 10-12 races. There would then be 6 (two on each "continent(s)") to crown a world champion.

As the three series would be full, i.e. consisting of 24 cars, the six world championship races would have a far more interesting form of qualifying - 72 cars for qualifying and 24 cars in the race.

I guess that it would be too expensive though...
